The pump was received fully assembled and the remaining oil was hardened and gelled. The pump was completely disassembled to provide a thorough and detailed inspection report.

The motor was given a meg test and failed. The test reveals a short to ground. A new motor will be required.

The inlet screen and anti-suckback valve are coated with process and gelled oil. A new inlet screen and anti-suckback valve will be installed during the rebuild.

The exhaust filters were inspected and found burnt. All new filters, oil return valve, drum plug, springs and bridges will be installed during the rebuild.

It appears there was a fire in the exhaust box.  The exhaust box will have to be sent out for process removal due to the fire. The box will be reinstalled during the rebuild.

The endplates were removed and inspected. They have some wear but are still within Busch specifications. The plates will be cleaned and reinstalled during the rebuild.

The vanes were removed and inspected. They are worn and are beginning to chip at the edges. New vanes will be installed during the rebuild.

The rotor was removed and inspected. There is some wear but it is still within Busch specifications. The rotor will be cleaned and reinstalled during the rebuild.

The cylinder was removed and inspected. There is wash boarding present. The cylinder will be sent out to be restored to Busch specifications prior to the rebuild.

The pump repair was completed and returned to the customer in prime working order.
